To search by specialty
Use the Specialty popup menus to choose one, two or three Specialties. Each additional Specialty will (usually) increase the number of photographers that the search engine finds.
To search by location
Searching by state or country is quite helpful in some circumstances. But searching for a city can be tricky. The city name must be spelled correctly and completely, and the database knows nothing about nearby towns or suburbs. For most purposes, you are usually better off to search by metro area.
To search by last name
You do not need the complete name. You may enter the first few letters of the photographer's name and then scan the list of results.
To combine searches
You may specify both a metro area and a specialty (or specialty and state, etc.) to limit your searching to photographers that satisfy both conditions. If this is not what you intend, there is a Search Option that you may change.
