Search by location
If the location is within the U.S., enter either the zip code or the city and state. For small towns or places known by several names, it may pay to pick a nearby city and let the database sweep a wider distance radius.
You must spell the name of the city correctly. Capitalization does not matter, but spaces do matter. (Thus, "Los Alamos" is the same as "los alamos" but not the same as "losalamos".) If the system can't match the city you asked for, it will offer similar-sounding names that are in the database.
For searches outside the U.S., the city and state are ignored.
Sorting the results
The default setting is to list the closest assistants first. In major cities where ASMP has lots of members, you may prefer to see the most experienced assistants first.
