Robert Houser

It started with adventure travel around the world, then back home to Silicon Valley during the dot com days. Robert now focuses mainly in the healthcare sector on patients, doctors, executives and everyday people. Personal work has become a large focus for the studio, such as Facing Chemo, a recent project which opened this month and should be traveling around the US in 2014. In the end, it's connecting with people that inspires him to shoot.

The Location: Historic 16th Street Station, Oakland

The decommissioned train station that served the city of Oakland prior to the turn of the 20th century serves as the backdrop for our photographers and guests. With our sponsors supplying the models, hair, makeup, wardrobe, grip, and video, our experts will have everything they need to work their craft amid the beauty of one of the most unique and rarely accessible locations in the Bay Area.

During this rare opportunity, you’ll be an active participant, having the chance to learn new techniques, ask questions, interact with the talent, and witness first-hand how each photographer approaches their work from the moment the event begins to the final click of the shutter.
