Copyright is the foundation that allows photographers to build value from their work. It provides creative professionals with the means to decide how, when and where their work is used. Although creative work is protected from the moment it is fixed in tangible form, to receive the full protection against infringement it must be registered with the copyright office. This is a process. that although not difficult, many photographers overlook.
In this workshop Jim Kohl will demonstrate a method using common tools that allows him to incorporate copyright registration into his routine workflow.
