Travel photography instructor, author and international guide Ralph Velasco is the President and CEO (Chief Experience Officer) at PhotoEnrichment Adventures. Over the past eight years his company has organized, and he’s led, more than 50 cultural tours around the world, including to Egypt, Mexico’s Copper Canyon, Bhutan, Nepal, Cambodia, Iceland, Central Europe, Morocco, Tuscany, Lapland, the Baltics, Vietnam, the Adriatic, Romania, Turkey, Spain and others. Additionally, as of this writing he’s organized and led more than a dozen fully-licensed People-to-People and Humanitarian programs to Cuba. In 2015 Ralph was shortlisted as a finalist for the prestigious Travel Photographer of the Year Award, but unfortunately he lost to a National Geographic photographer who had won this and many other awards before. In 2014 he was selected to a list of The Top 100 Travel Photographers in the World, and two years in a row he was awarded “Open Category Photographer of the Year” by the Professional Photographers of Orange County, California.
