Still photographers are increasingly making the transition to video. DSLR cameras produce fantastic motion imagery. Quality audio is problematic. This program is for photographers who need to make compelling video with superior audio without the luxury of an additional sound person or a truckload of expensive gear.
Atlanta-based photographer and videographer Michael A. Schwarz began teaching himself video 4 years ago. He found learning good audio techniques to be the most difficult part of filmmaking. Michael shows how to get the best quality audio while shooting DSLR video. Microphone selection, placement, recording directly to camera or with a digital recorder are critical to creating compelling motion projects. Michael explains, step-by-step, simple, best practices for shooting multi-camera interviews.
