Hotels

Even if you live right in town, you may find it worthwhile to book a room at the conference hotel. One of the greatest benefits of a conference is the after-hours sessions and the chance meetings in hallways — benefits you will only get if you are on the scene.

Rooms at the conference rate are limited. After our reserved block is sold out, rooms may or may not be available, but the price is not guaranteed. Book early to ensure your room.

Reservations will be accepted at a discounted rate ($179/night + tax for double occupancy) through March 23, 2011. After that, if rooms are available at all, they will be priced at the hotel's normal rates.

Chicago parking info. The hotel has valet parking. Rate ranges from $20 for 2 hours up to $48 for 24 hours. A dozen self-park garages are within a six-block radius; see map.

Chicago transit info. Chicago Transit Authority Trains run from both Midway and O'Hare Airports.

• From Midway to Allerton: Take Orange Line to Roosevelt — transfer to the Red Line towards Howard — take Red Line to Chicago Avenue. Walk East on Chicago Avenue 3 blocks to Michigan Ave. Head South on Michigan Ave. Hotel is on corner of Michigan and Huron.
• From O'Hare to Allterton: Take Blue Line to downtown — transfer at Jackson to the Red Line towards Howard — take Red Line to Chicago Avenue. Walk East on Chicago Avenue 3 blocks to Michigan Ave. Head South on Michigan Ave. Hotel is on corner of Michigan and Huron.
