Member Benefits: ImageRights

ImageRights discovery service works to look for your images online, identify who's using them and how. In operation, ImageRights constructs a small image "fingerprint" for each image you upload. Its web crawler then examines external sites and looks for images that have the same fingerprint. When it finds one, it notifies you.

It is then up to you to determine whether the usage is legitimate and what action to take if it's not. Optionally, ImageRights offers a recovery service to help you receive licensing fees, seek attribution or issue take-down notices.

The tracking service is free for up to 10,000 images. Alternatively, you may select one of the paid packages — Basic, Standard, or Pro. Users of the free service who opt for the Recovery Service pay 50% of any recovered fees to ImageRights. Users of a paid plan pay only 35% of recovered fees.
