Photo Plus Expo

Photo Plus Expo, the preeminent photographer trade event of the year, will soon be here. It will be an extraordinary networking and educational venue and a time to catch up with old friends, talk to industry leaders, and learn the latest in photo technology and marketing.

 

Announcement of the Arnold Newman Prize
Thursday, October 22, 6pm
Room 1E15, Jacob Javits Center, New York City

 

The prize is sponsored by the Arnold and Augusta Newman Foundation, with support from Maine Media Workshops, the American Society of Media Photographers, and Photo District News. This is the evolution of a program created by ASMP in 2006 after the death of one of ASMP's renowned founding members, and the leading proponent of the environmental portrait, Arnold Newman. At the event, photographer Gregory Heisler will present a lecture of his work and reminisce about his time spent as Arnold Newman's assistant.

Please join us for this special evening, free to all members. There will be presentations by ASMP President Richard Kelly and Executive Director Eugene Mopsik, and a keynote address, "Leveraging Social Media for Your Business," by member and social media authority Jack Hollingsworth.

 

A cash bar will be available and refreshments served, and all attendees will receive free tickets (value $105) for Saturday morning’s Copyright Education Seminar by Attorney Nancy Wolff and a representative of the Copyright Office.
